1. Do not give your username or password to anyone.
   The Game Masters will never ask for your username or password. If you give out your username or password and then find something missing, the Game Masters will not restore it.

1. The Game Masters' word is final.
   But if you still feel you have been wronged, please log a support ticket in the Help Desk section on the Forums. Any posts regarding how you have been wronged that are not logged as a support ticket will be deleted.
   
   
2. Respect others.
   Disrespect includes, but is not limited to:
   
   • Sexual harassment.
   • Begging. (repeatedly asking other(s) for free items, buffs, warps, etc.)
   • Racial and/or prejudiced remarks and/or comments.
   • Spamming. (this includes the @chat and @shop channels.)
   • Harassment. (messaging other(s) repeatedly who do not wish to receive your message, following other(s) around who do not wish to be followed, or provoking other(s) in any manner.)
   • Scamming. (scamming/abusing other(s) out of their items and/or zeny -- "victims" will not receive compensation, but scammers will be disciplined and have their illacquired goods removed.)
   • Impersonating others. (this includes impersonating any other(s), their guilds, and/or the Game Masters.)
   Game Masters are NOT exempt from this rule.
   
   All cases are judged on a case-by-case basis, however this is a general layout of disciplinary action you would receive:
   
   • 1st offense - Warning.
   • 2nd offense - Account(s) temporarily banned for 24 hours.
   • 3rd offense - Account(s) permanently banned.
   
   
3. Be courteous to others.
   Discourteous behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
   
   • "killstealing". (KSing) (attacking a monster other(s) are already attacking or attacking a monster other(s) are already being attacked by without their permission.)
   • "looting". (taking item(s) belonging to another person (or other people) without their permission.)
   Game Masters are NOT exempt from this rule.
   
   Please note this does not include MVPs. ALL MVP monsters are free-for-all. This means that on these monsters only, anyone can attack it, regardless of who attacks it first. Anything that drops from an MVP can be taken by anyone, regardless of who was attacking it. Any reports submitted regarding the KSing or looting of MVP monsters will be ignored.
   Please also consider that as MVPs are free-for-all, any player who wants to be present has the right to remain present, and no one else is allowed to force them to leave the area.
   
   All cases are judged on a case-by-case basis, however this is a general layout of disciplinary action you would receive:
   
   • 1st offense - Warning.
   • 2nd offense - Character Jailed for 3 in-game hours.
   • 3rd offense - Account(s) temporarily banned for 24 hours.
   • 4th offense - Account(s) permanently banned.
   
   
4. Keep things rated PG-13.
   Don't forget, children are part of our community as well. While cursing is permitted, show some civility and be respectful to your fellow players, any excessive cursing directed at a player is considered harassment. This also applies to character names. Character names may not contain anything that could be deemed inappropriate or offensive.
   
   Game Masters are NOT exempt from this rule.
   
   
5. Play fairly.
   Unfair play includes, but is not limited to:
   
   • "botting". (use of any 3rd party software to play rather than playing yourself.)
   • "duping". (hacking and/or exploiting in order to duplicate your items.)
   • "exploiting bugs". (it is your duty to report bugs and not exploit them.)
   Game Masters are NOT exempt from this rule.
   
   There is a zero-tolerance policy in effect for this rule, disciplinary action you would receive:
   
   • 1st offense - Account(s) permanently banned.
   
   
6. Do not submit false abuse reports.
   Please also note that by entering the "Player vs. Player" (PvP) arena you will be entering to a map where another player can kill you - it is NOT classified as "harassment" if you are killed while in the PvP arenas, and any reports regarding PvP will fall under this category.
   
   All cases are judged on a case-by-case basis, however this is a general layout of disciplinary action you would receive:
   
   • 1st offense - Account(s) temporarily banned for 24 hours.
   • 2nd offense - Account(s) permanently banned.
   
   
7. The spirit, if not only the literal interpretation of these rules must be followed.
   If you find yourself disobeying these rules, you will be dealt with accordingly. Also keep in mind that ignorance of these rules is no excuse.

These rules may be updated at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to stay up to date on the rules and abide by them.
